Apple formalized the launch of its standalone application dedicated to classical music, which should have a fabulous library of nearly 5 million titles.
AVAILABLE ON MARCH 28 BUT UNDER CONDITIONS
After several months of waiting, we now know the launch date of Apple Music Classical, namely March 28! Until then, it is still possible to pre-order the app to enjoy the best audio quality available (ALAC 24-bit/192kHz Lossless high quality), and rediscover many songs in a whole new immersive way thanks to audio spatial.
With this fanfare launch, Cupertino still slipped a few conditions. Thus this new application will imperatively require an Apple Music subscription (Individual, Student, Family, or Apple One), even if you can pre-download it now. Otherwise, you will not be able to use it.
To this is added another restriction which has been confirmed to our American colleagues from The Verge: the impossibility of downloading the songs if you want to listen to them offline (this could change). What is also specified in halftones in the press release: An Internet connection is required to listen to music on Apple Music Classical.
HOW TO PRE-ORDER?
To be in the starting blocks, you have to take your iPhone:
- Go to the Apple Music Classical app page on the App Store, – click on the blue Get
button, and confirm the pre-order by double-clicking.

In this way, it will be automatically downloaded to your iPhone and ready to use on D-Day. It is also possible to receive notifications on the availability of the latter if desired.
